AIPI DCW Training and Testing Program is mobile! We can come to you and train your employees (additional fees apply).
AIPI direct care workers Training is an intensive and in-depth training with open discussions, we want to ensure that all participants acquire the knowledge and appropriate skills to becoming a Certified Direct Care Worker.
Direct Care Worker Training Fees
Only In-Home Care Agencies can sign up a provider for these classes
DCW Challenge Test: $25.00 per curriculum
Only available for providers with hands-on direct care experience (paid or unpaid) of at least one year. If FAILED challenge test, provider is required to take Direct Care Worker Training for FAILED curriculum. This is NOT an open book test.
LEVEL ONE: $100.00 per PARTICIPANT
Principles of Caregiving: Fundamentals.
Skills Training & Testing
PASS grade for Written test - 80%
PASS grade for Skills test - 100%
1 Re-testing available, cannot be same day as previous testing
Open book testing
A letter, dated and signed by the trainer, will be issued with test results with one of following: pass, not passed, or not tested to participant. If passed, POC: Fundamental training certification will be issued & test results submitted into AHCCCS DCW Testing Records Online database. If you do not pass or not tested, reschedule for testing will be offered.
Level I must be completed by all DCWs, including family caregivers
LEVEL TWO (a): $50.00 per PARTICIPANT
